5 Easy Steps to Order Commercial Kitchen Equipment

Step 1: Search & Check
Search for commercial kitchen equipment either by category or brand. You can do this by searching in the side menus or by typing what you are looking for in the search box in the upper right corner. Carefully check the product specifications including price, dimensions and other installation details about the product. Then, click 'Add to Cart'.

Step 2: Order
You can change the quantity by clicking the dropdown menu under the 'Qty' field. You can also remove items from your cart by clicking the 'x' button beside the item price.
Remember: If you are purchasing multiple products or food equipment for a kitchen project, Southern Cross Food Equipment can often obtain greater buying discounts from the manufacturers. Just call us and we’ll prepare a special discounted deal to suit your project.

Step 3: Shipping
Estimate shipping and tax by providing your suburb, state and post code. Click 'Estimate Shipping & Tax'. Select your desired shipping, then click 'Update Shipping Cost'.
Note: Shipping costs are estimates and may change. However we’ll call you first.

Step 4: Checkout
Click 'Proceed to Checkout'. You can either check out as a guest or register an account for a faster checkout process in the future. If you already have an account with us, simply log in using the form.
Fill out your billing details. Tick the box for 'I also want to ship to this address' if you have the same shipping address and billing address. Select your preferred shipping method. Then, choose the payment method you wish to use. Click 'Proceed to Payment'.
Fill out your payment Information, then click 'Pay for Order'. Your order will be processed once we confirm that payment has been received. You will receive an email about the details of your order including your order ID. Keep this and your invoice for future reference and correspondence with Southern Cross Food Equipment.

Step 5: Confirmation
One of our friendly customer service people will call you to confirm your order and ask a few questions about your delivery location. This will enable us to plan for a safe and efficient delivery in the shortest possible time.
What should I check before choosing catering equipment?
When ordering equipment, always remember to check:
Size
Measure the location where the item will be positioned, then verify the size of the product. Allow for tolerances and breathing space around the product. You can usually find this information in the specification sheets.
Connections
Some types of equipment have very specific requirements for gas, power and water connections. For best performance, check the connections at your restaurant to ensure they meet the requirements. You may need a qualified tradesman to connect your equipment. In some cases, a council building or plumbing application may be required. Check with your local council if in doubt. This is usually a very simple process if your service connections are there.
Infrastructure
Some types of equipment may require extra infrastructure such as an exhaust hood or drain. Simply check the specs or contact us to confirm.
